Loud Minds was started by Tim Haines to make high-end factual and drama productions for international audiences. Tim has gathered a team with the experience to deliver the finance, marketing and production skills needed to support the most ambitious breakthrough projects.

Tim Haines - Creative Director

Tim began in journalism before becoming a producer on Tomorrow’s World and Horizon. At the BBC he created the landmark and multi-BAFTA and Emmy award winning Walking with Dinosaurs series in 1998, followed by sequel Walking with Beasts and drama The Lost World. Impossible Pictures was established in 2002 under Tim’s leadership and would go on to make a wide range of much-loved specialist factual and drama programmes for BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Discovery and Nat Geo that included Sea Monsters, Prehistoric Park, Primeval, Space Odyssey, Sinbad and Blitz Street. Since 2013 Tim has been creative director of ITV Studios Drama responsible for Beowulf and The Loch. As creative director of Immersive Escapes he also produced the Dinosaurs in the Wild immersive experience which, after delighting audiences in the UK, is currently opening in Saudi Arabia.

Mark Popkiewicz - Director

Mark is an experienced CEO, ex BBC, founder Aurra Studios, Mirriad, Mobile Media, Lucent, Eicon, LBC presenter/producer and MD of Ikon Films. He established circa 30 operations around the world including US, Europe, China, LatAm and India. Mark has been instrumental in the execution of 2 IPOs, 3 trade exits and has raised $100M in raised capital with over $1Bn in exits.

Kerry Ball - Commercial Partnerships Advisor

Senior Leader in digital distribution evolution in NBC Universal, Discovery and Shine International creating new business models and services partnerships.. Kerry built each digital team from nascent revenues to $30-$100m.

Sheryl Trinh - COO

Sheryl is an experienced COO in the independent TV production industry overseeing business and commercial operations, production and development in both factual and drama, with particular success in structuring finance and managing the compliant and successful delivery of large scale, high budget, returning drama and specialist factual series including BBC's Walking with Monsters, Space Odyssey, ITV's Frankenstein, Primeval and Sky's Sinbad. Other projects include the production of the visually outstanding 3D Media content for DINOSAURS IN THE WILD and producing short film REAL THIRSTY starring Bryan Cranston.
